Character Post 1

Maniac Magee was a kind person because he cared for other people if they needed help(Spinelli 19). He lived with his aunt and uncle but after that he ran away because he didn't like how there was always two of everything and that they wouldn't get along(Spinelli 6). After he lived with them he decided to go find a new home, so then he ran all the way to the East End(Spinelli 7). He borrowed a book from Amanda Beale so that he could read it(Spinelli 13).He got the nickname "maniac" by all the people in the town(Spinelli 28). Maniac Magee gets introduced to the Beale family(Spinelli 41). Mr. Beale takes Maniac back home but since he doesn't have a home Mr. Beale takes him back to their house to stay(Spinelli 43). Maniac was allergic to pizza(Spinelli 49). After he went to church he likes to stand and shout "Hallelujah! Amen!"(Spinelli 51).
